Polymer Production LLP is a member of Samruk-Kazyna National Welfare Fund JSC group of companies, being an affiliate of United Chemical Company LLP.

At this time, Polymer Production LLP has implemented Investment Project Production of polymer products in Atyrau region, production is being carried out (biaxially oriented polypropylene film, polyethylene film and polypropylene bags).

This Project is included in State Program for Forced Industrial and Innovative Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2010-2014, approved by Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan № 958 dated the 19th of March 2010; The program for development of chemical industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2010-2014, approved by Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan № 1001 dated the 30th of September 2010.

Main objective of activity of CHEM-Plus LLP is organization in the Republic of Kazakhstan of industrial production of glyphosate, caustic soda, phosphorus trichloride, as well as calcium chloride.

In 2009, United Chemical Company LLP became a member of JV SAP Kazatomprom LLP. Funds were allocated for the reconstruction of a sulfuric acid plant with a capacity of 180 thousand tons in order to provide uranium mining enterprises of Kazatomprom with sulfuric acid. In October 2015, reconstruction of sulfuric acid plant with a production capacity of 180 thousand tons per year was completed, plant was commissioned. Reconstruction of existing production facilities, as well as construction of new facilities (molten sulfur storage with pump room, absorption department, pump storage room for sulfuric acid, diesel fuel warehouse, railway overpass) was carried out to ensure production of a high-quality product. Installed equipment and technology comply with international standards.

 

Current tasks:

Providing uranium mining enterprises of NAC Kazatomprom JSC with sulfuric acid.

Solving problems of sulfur processing, which has a negative impact on environmental situation in Caspian region (currently, about 8 million tons of sulfur are on  sulfur pads of Tengizchevroil LLP (TCO));

Development of chemical industry in northern regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan through the processing of sulfur using modern technologies.

Kazakhstan Petrochemical Industries Inc. LLP (Kazakhstan Petrochemical Industries Inc.) was developed as part of the Program for Development of Petrochemical Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2008-2013,” approved by Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan № 1352 dated the 29th of December 2007, with goal of using large volumes of gas from Tengiz and Kashagan fields as a raw material for a gas chemical complex for production of expensive petrochemical products for subsequent sale to domestic and export markets.

The project is included in State program for accelerated industrial and economic development of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2010-2014, approved by Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan № 958 dated the 19th of March 2010.

Production capacity: Polypropylene – 500 thousand tons per year.

Polypropylene and its co-polymers in a view of granules are widely used in mechanical engineering, medicine, electrical engineering, in production of packaging materials, containers, fibers, pipes and fittings for hot water supply, office equipment and consumer electronics, consumer goods, garden and office furniture, etc. Valuable physical and chemical properties and relative simplicity of polypropylene granules processing into a final product making it an extremely attractive material that can compete with more expensive polymers.

– Construction of the first integrated gas chemical complex in Atyrau region;

– Operation of the Complex, including production and sale of industrial products manufactured by the Complex;

– Implementation of measures necessary for and related to engineering, design, and construction of the Complex, but not limited to, fulfillment of functions of customer and technical supervision of design, procurement and construction contracts for the Project, Complex and all other related agreements;

– Implementation of activities related to raising funds for implementation of the Project and the Complex;

– Implementation of measures for production and sale of industrial products manufactured by the Complex, including all gas processing and petrochemical products.
